When your device post data to TagoIO, it is considered a 'data input' event. This event can trigger up to three services depending on Device Connections Settings configuration, each one is counted against the 'Data Input Transaction'.

The first transaction always runs when a variable is stored in the bucket. The other two transactions are optionals, and the options are available in the tab 'More' for each device:

  1. The event can trigger a verification inside the 'Action'. If disabled, the system will not check for comparisons with the Action triggers.
  2. The event can trigger the real-time service. If disabled, the widgets that use this variable will not be updated in the browser or mobile App automatically - it will require a screen refresh to display the updated values of a variable.
Turning these options OFF will save you money when there is no need for any Action verification or data visualization in real-time for that device. Learn more about the Services here.
